The inactivity of this forum.

It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...
I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.
I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …
Happy New Year OT! We may be dying... BUT WE'RE STILL HERE! We had an... interesting year last year. Vice Admin Burkman is taking a long earned vacation and Uly is stepping into his position. Well... I'd have more to say but I've got other things to do atm... and oh yeah... to quote Callin... "GET A MIC YA BUM!"

Marvel, but only because I know more about the mass of heroes and villains in Marvel than DC's. And their epic heroes and villains. Marvel surpasses DC in villains and heroes. Except everything Batman related. Because Batman is awesome.

Marvel. The characters are more human and realistic, while still being heroes. DC on the other hand (at least with their biggest selling heroes) are a bit more "unmortal" very god like and powerful, and you just cant relate. Plus I <3 Stan Lee.

DC heroes are pussies. They won't kill anything.

Not killing the villain in the end and letting him out to kill more is not heroic, it's being a pussy.
*Looks at batman*

Marvel heroes never kill any main villain either.
name a popular villain that is dead now other then carnage, and sabertooth, tho sabertooth is questionable cause last i heard he was possessing wolverine or something.
sure people like the punisher kills tons of thugs but what major villian has he killed that wasn't introduced just to be killed.
Edit: tho i will point out that Beast Boy has killed a few villains like Madame Rouge :P

Actually, Marvel characters are way more powerful. DC doesn't even want another Superman on their hands. And there are plenty of Mavel characters that would rip him up. It's just that DC refuses to make stronger villains than Superman that is the problem.

What about Villians such as Anti-Matter and Nekron?

Also for the Record Superman is not the most powerful DC character. Martian Manhunter and the flash "wally west" are more powerful.
Edit: Although Superman like Goku has titular character status. Meaning all they have too do is "try" real hard and they can beat anyone.

I'm being VERY general. We're talking about years of comics. Nekron is hardy a shining example of that history. And there are about a dozen Marvel death figures.

Funny, I see "Go really fast" and "Set things on fire" in Superman's power list.
Frankly, yes of course there are exceptions. You can't have that many years of comics and writers without them going different ways. Some will build up characters they like better. Others will downplay the greats. At the end of the day when all event villains have failed to touch the continuity Superman is king of DC. Yet, he could easily be taken down by Phoenix (Probably most Omega-level mutants.), Rouge, Thor (Though I don't think he shows it as much his power list is pretty much Superman's with Lighting instead of some of the extras.), Hulk (And the other Hulks.), and probably some more. That's just the heroes though.

That's just the heroes though.
And now for something completely different.

Wally West has the Speed Force though which is very powerful. He is definitely more powerful than Barry Allen.

I've generally been leaning more towards DC because they've offered smarter titles like Sandman, Watchmen, V for Vendetta, and some Batman titles like The Killing Joke.

for every superman in dc marvel has it's silver surfer, and in general superman is just a more entertaining personality then bland silver man.
but i do agree with him about Stan lee

Silver Surfer isn't milked like a cow. DC is much more inhuman than Marvel. Batman may struggle but we see more of that behind the mask.
With Peter, its actually to where he struggles more as, well, Peter. And not spiderman.

In my opinion, I hate Silver Surfer because of his super man-ness.
The Lanterns can't even be OPed good. They get their asses kicked all the time.
