It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...
I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.
I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …
Happy New Year OT! We may be dying... BUT WE'RE STILL HERE! We had an... interesting year last year. Vice Admin Burkman is taking a long earned vacation and Uly is stepping into his position. Well... Subject: Eurogamer Expo 2012 Sat Sep 29, 2012 6:34 pm
As you guys know, I got a super pass for the Eurogamer this year... This thread will be for the coverage... I already have some stuff ready for upload, commentary will come later tomorrow, which is Sunday (also, internet isn't really up to speed, so it might come along later... eventually). Unfortunately, I missed the first day so I couldn't get to the Hitman dev session. Also, due to a lack of organisation on mine and my friends' part, we couldn't get to the Assassins' Creed III Friday dev session either. We did manage to get in the Dishonored one, but they said no to recordings and photos so yeah... As for Saturday's coverage, we made it to the first row on the Company of Heroes 2 session, but it had a no recording policy as well (just like most of the stuff this year). Pictures will be uploaded later (cause there are a LOT, mostly cosplayers).
I did manage to get some footage of my friend playin' DmC. I'm going to upload that shit when I get better internet.
On the up side- we did manage to get third place in a foosball tournamemt... Were given epic beanies... We also played a lot of Dead or Alive 5 and some Tekken... Other games that we played were: Dishonored; Assassin's Creed III; Hitman: Absolution; DUST 514; Company of Heroes 2;
Also, here's the Dev Sessions. Unfortunately, the Company of Heroes 2, where I asked a question to the devs, one wasn't a 'live' one (they didn't upload it to YouTube) cause it was an exclusive first look thing. Also no Dishonored session for the same reason. But a preview rant will be coming later on both titles, as well as the other games I managed to play.
Assassin's Creed III (We didn't get to see this one):
Hitman: Absolution (Didn't see this one either, it was in Thursday):
Splinter Cell: Blacklist (We had to choose between that and CoH2, so...)
Tomb Raider (I was gonna ask a question here, but a fucker beat me to it):

I'm not interested in the new DMC at all. The story is not even canon to the original series. Also, Dante looks like a goddamn angsty teenager compared to his older (and better) looks. He's not the real Dante. This new Dante is supposed to be like half angel, half demon while the original is half human half demon.

I actually am looking foward to the game, after all the guys who did this game did enslaved; The game was originally canon but due to a large ammount of butthurt they made a alternate universe thingy a-la DC Universe.
I'm not interested in the new DMC at all. The story is not even canon to the original series. Also, Dante looks like a goddamn angsty teenager compared to his older (and better) looks. He's not the real Dante. This new Dante is supposed to be like half angel, half demon while the original is half human half demon.

And lets not forget- it's a reboot... My bigger concern is the Tomb Rider reboot... I like the fact that they're taking a new approach to things with the survival element and all... I just would've wanted (and did expect really) a hunger element added, which would have made hunting an actual mechanic and factor in the game... Not just an added thing to gain Exp with...

This, I agree about the hunting thing and the dante hair I have to admit that when I saw images of Devil May Cry for the PS2 I thought Dante was trying to be a white haired Rihanna, so yeah, hair is alright to me as it´s not something important in the plot
