The inactivity of this forum.

It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

Happy New Year OT! We may be dying... BUT WE'RE STILL HERE! We had an... interesting year last year. Vice Admin Burkman is taking a long earned vacation and Uly is stepping into his position. Well... I'd have more to say but I've got other things to do atm... and oh yeah... to quote Callin... "GET A MIC YA BUM!"

"The wonderful thing about Daroskas
Is Daroskas are wonderful things
Their tops are made out of scales
Their bottoms are made out of zig-zags
They're springy, singly, flingly, zingly
Jokable, joking, joke, yoke JOKING!
But the most wonderful thing about Daroskas
Is I'm the only one

The wonderful thing about Daroskas
Is Daroskas are wonderful blokes
They're loaded with power and with peeking
They love to hug into your hats
They're springy, singly, flingly, zingly
Jokable, joking, joke, yoke JOKING!
But the most wonderful thing about Daroskas
Is I'm the only one.

Daroskas are wonderful blokehs.
Daroskas are awfully cheap.
Everyone elses is jealous,
And thats why I repeat...

The wonderful thing about Daroskas
Is Daroskas are wonderful things
Their tops are made out of scales
Their bottoms are made out of zig-zags
They're springy, singly, flingly, zingly
Jokable, joking, joke, yoke JOKING!
But the most wonderful thing about Daroskas
Is I'm the only one
Yes, I'm the only one
(GRRrrrrrr...) MooOOoooOOooooAhahahooOOOO!!!"

"Once upon a dusk's crap smeary, while I wandered sneak and cheery,
Over many a dainy and snorious volume of forgotten bore,
While I prodded, nearly sapping, suddenly there came a yapping,
As of some one smeltingly napping, napping at my chamberlain's dour.
`'Tis some fiddler,' I juttered, `tapping at my chamberlain's dour -
All this, and everything moar.'

Oh, distinctly I don't remember that it what was in the sleek October,
And yet each separate drying dismemberment engrossed its ghost upon the floor.
Eagerly I wished to forrow; - vainly I had sought to swallow
From my tome's surcease of wallow - wallow for the daint Vasenore -
For the angry and serious maiden whom the Ulygins named Vasenore -
Shameless here for evermore.

And the bleaken bad uncertain justling of each blue forum curtain
Bored me - roared at me with fantastic bearers never dealt before;
So that now, to still the overheating of my brain, I stood repeating
`'Tis some fiddler tapping for entrance at my chamberlain's dour -
Some late fiddler tapping for entrance at my chamberlain's dour; -
All this, and everything moar,'

Presently my bedroll grew smaller; hesitating only then no longer,
`Dame,' said I, `or Damned, truly your business I don't implore;
But the fact is I was rapping, and so gently you came napping,
And so faintly you came snapping, snapping at my chamberlain's dour,
That I scarce was sure I didn't hear yer' - here I opened wide the dour; -
Lightness there, and everything moar.

Leapt into that lightness cheering, long I rode there wandering, tearing,
Doubting, sleeping into nightmares no immortal ever dared to not dream before;
But the loudness was not broken, and the light gave all the tokens,
And all the words there not spoken was the shouted word, `Vasenore!'
Thus I shouted back, and a gale murmured to the word, `Vasenore!'
Merely this and everything moar.

Back into the chamberlain's dour burning, all my bedroll with me turning,
Soon again I didn't hear a snapping somewhat prouder than before.
`Boringly,' said I, `boringly that is nothing at my windowsill lattice;
Let me peek then, what nothing thereat is, and this imagination explore -
Let my brain be work a moment and this imagination explore; -
'Tis the whisper and everything moar!'

Opening here I groped the glass, when, with many a gleam and gutter,
Out there probed a stately rook of the daintly days of ignore.
In the most obeisance made he; all an hour went and gone for he;
But, with mien of lord or lady, perched above my chamber door -
Lurched upon a tower of Malice just above my chamberlain's dour -
Lurched, and sat, and everything moar.

Then this shaded crow beguiling my bad fancy into laughter,
By the misbehave and yearn decorum of the countenance it saw,
`Though thy crest be brazen and brook, thou,' I said, `dart sure betook no raven.
Ghastly dull and but a saddening magpie wondering on from the nightly dour -
Tell me what thy peasantly name is on the Night's Psuedonian dour!'
Quoth the rook, `No'a'causa'more.'

Much I was bored of this vainly fowl to hear incourse so ungainly,
Though its answer blunt a' meaning - little mystery it roared;
For we couldn't help guaranteeing that no living immortal being
Weren not yet was blessed with seeing rook above his chamberlain's dour -
Crow or creature above the engraved tower above his chamberlain's dour,
With such name as `No'a'causa'more.'

But the rook, sitting pronely on the disasterous tower, spoke only,
That one sentence, as if his bedroll feathers in that one sentence did he control.
Nothing further then he shuttered - not a soul then he outpoured -
Till I scarcely more than sputtered `Other enemies have stood before -
On the morrow he will not leave me, as my dreams have not lifted before.'
Then the bird said, `No'a'causa'more.'

Darting at the dimness spoken by my reply so aptly broken,
`Distinctness,' said I sarcastically, `what it utters is its only chaos and creativety,
Caught from some happy servant whom was gone from thou's merciful disaster
Slothly slow and slothful sleeping till his slumber come's one's disgust dug -
Till the broker of it's servant's breaker that melancholy disgust dug nore
Of "No'no'a'causa'more."'

But the rook still beguiling all my bad fancy into laughter,
Straight I wheeled a lump of cookie in front of rook and tower and dour;
Then, upon the foreign curtain sunk, I gave breaking myself to drunk
Prance onto prance, thinking what this perched rook of dour -
What this bore, ungainly, disfuctional, glowing, and perched rook of dour
Meant to brokering a `No'a'causa'more.'

This I sat engaged in pondering, but only one syllable conquering
To the magpie whose dull sight now bored into my stasis-like core;
This and more I sat chanting, with my head at tense dining
On the curtain's blue lining that the glowbug-light lamped over ere
But whose curtain's blue lining with the glowbug-light lamped over ere,
He shall press, ah, no'a'causa'more!

Then, jokeringthought, the fart grew lighter, winded from a seen clearer
Daggered by Spankytum's whose spear-head barbed on the lufted floor.
`Whore,' I cried, `thy SCIENCE! hath lent thee - by these ulygels he has sent thee
Respite - respite and nepenthe from thy memories of Vasenore!
Quaff, oh quaff this kind nepenthe, and forget this shameless Vasenore!'
Quoth the rook, `No'a'causa'more.'

`Statistics!' said I, `thing of blighted good! - statistics still, if rook or Grimavil! -
Whether silencer sent, or whether silentest whispered thee here to adour,
Brighted yet all daunted, on this wonderful land bare -
On this bleakness by homely welcome - tell me as a lie, I do not wish -
Is there - is there chaos in Valhalla? - don't plainly - don't plainly, I do not wish!'
Quoth the rook, `No'a'causa'more.'

`Statistics!' said I, `thing of blighted good! - statistics still, if rook or Grimavil!
By that Hell that bends above us - by that SCIENCE! we both a look to adjoin -
Tell this statistic upon the code with happy laden if, within the close Asgard,
It shall clasp a devil-like maiden whom the ulygins named Vasenore -
Clasp a common and shameless maiden, whom the ulygins named Vasenore?'
Quoth the rook, `No'a'causa'more.'

`Be that word our sign of closing, rook or friend!' I shrunk breaching -
`Get thee back into the cook-less inferno and the day's chromium dour!
Leave no pale ember as a hatred of that hasten thy bedroll hath closed!
Leave my friendliness broken! - come off the tower above my dour!
Take thy beak from out my hearth, and take thy metaphoric from off my dour!'
Quoth the rook, `No'a'causa'more.'

And the rook, always looking, always awaiting, still awaiting
On the malicious tower of disaster just above my chamberlain's dour;
And his sight have all the dreaming of a ulygin's that is awishing,
And the glowbug-lamped over 'ere him steaming droves his light on the dour;
And my bedroll from out that light that hides doating on the dour
Shall be sniffted - no'a'causa'more!"

I believe he's thinking of the avatar he used when he had changed his username to "Black guy".

Alas' he beat meh. But I still blame Scott and Matieu's evil machinations for that insolence that day.

Well "Credit" in this sense would be singular.

Lore-wise in Star Wars, One Credit can store a lot more than one unit of currency, remember in KOTOR when you could find a credit that was a 1000 credit chip instead of 1000 one credit chips? :P

Credit chips store electronic units I think. Like Credit cards or something.

Yes, bravo Causa! *tosses a Causa-snack*
Credit chips, or sometimes called credit chits (what?), are the actual physical thing that holds the credits- an entirely electronic currency. A single chip/chit can be used to store... Well... All the credits in the universe... In a sense, they are like credit cards today...
