We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

Happy New Year OT! We may be dying... BUT WE'RE STILL HERE! We had an... interesting year last year. Vice Admin Burkman is taking a long earned vacation and Uly is stepping into his position. Well... I'd have more to say but I've got other things to do atm... and oh yeah... to quote Callin... "GET A MIC YA BUM!"

You know, as far as a powerpuff girls episode goes, that one wasn't all that great. I could sit and watch an episode of PPG when I was younger, but this felt like a chore to get through. I think I just don't like these musical episodes...

So there, I said it.

You read the info they gave right? Taken off for Communist vs. Capitalist messages as well as a few satanic messages.

Myths have a way of stemming from some truth... now if you had said rumors on the other hand...

Yeah the episode only aired once and the gnome does say a Russian word that could possible be translated to "Satan" mixed with the red cult worshiping voodoo I can see that interpretation but there is no mention of this episode being banned outside of some very poor sources.

I doubt they would take it down just for being annoying. God knows there are millions of shows that I'd take off.

I remember watching this episode when I was younger. At the time, I had no idea the messages it was sending out. I was like 10 or something.

I liked the one where they gave the Sandman a psychedelic nightmare better.

However while I love Powerpuff Girls, I am required to post an episode of another show as well as a clip of a really good episode of yet another show.

I don't really see any "subliminal messages" here, since subliminal messages are things that get past us, this is more like a reference. Of course, little kids (or the majority) wouldn't know about Communism. But this is a PREEEETTTTY obvious point to it. It's not like they're encouraging it though, if you actually bothered to watch it the moral is that communism is a no-no.

Aside from the "cult" I don't see any satanic references...the translation is very mixed up and there's no true known translation, and asides from that plenty of fictional villains in stories (especially children's stories) have been given names that are or can be translated to things like "devil", "satan", you know.

On the subject of subliminal messages in general: I for one find them to be very interesting. Lots of big names are called out and said to expose children to them. One of the most notable being Disney. Just go to Youtube and look up "Disney Subliminal Messages" and look how many videos you get...Unless you're too lazy, of course.

But yeah, I've seen much much worse than this. This is just obvious.

We never said subliminal you

You can see references plain as day. "Gnome is a protector of Townsville that demands to be worshipped in order to keep protecting."

Ok, I watched like two of these disney subliminal messages things and I thought it was retarded... I'm sure if you looked hard enough, you could spell the word "sex" in all sorts of things...
