Another dream

It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

Happy New Year OT! We may be dying... BUT WE'RE STILL HERE! We had an... interesting year last year. Vice Admin Burkman is taking a long earned vacation and Uly is stepping into his position. Well... Okay so, this dream was pretty cool and interesting. From what I remember, I was on this island with a bunch of other people. This island was filled with ancient ruins and ritual sites. We got on this island because we apparently hit a storm in our fishing boat and ended up ship wrecked. Through out this dream, other small stories were told featuring the other people who were on the island. Each person had a story of their own, but I can only remember two of them. This one woman's and the main story of why we were all there. The woman's story was about how her life was a complete wreck and her main career went down the drain, so that's how she got into fishing and stuff.

As for me, I had been visited by multiple deities of sorts over the course of months. I don't remember the first one, but I remember a lion deity and a female deity, who was the one who told me everything. She said I was special and said I was the only one who could defeat Jörmungandr, the world serpent in Norse mythology, who was aided by a goddess who blessed him as he went. I asked her how I, of all people, could kill such things. The only thing she said before I woke up was that I'm not entirely human myself and that I could be trained.

So... yeah... Is this a sign?

First of all, it's not shit. My dreams are not "shit". Especially the vivid dreams. Including the one where I was in a Narnia-like world and teleported back to a palace made completely out of pasta. No joke. I am not making this up. That palace... was made completely out of pasta with the lasagna walls and floors, the sauce everywhere and spaghetti columns.

Dreams are supposed to be made up from memories, but really, the woman deity in my dream had a face that I had never seen before.

Riiight... Ever thought you might have just been hungry for pasta?
And that stranded on an island dream- it could just be your subconscious seeking some proof that you're not just an average Joe and have indeed a purpose in this world...
Which, after all that's been happening to you, is absolutely normal...

And dreams aren't exactly formed out of memories exclusively... In a REM dream, your imagination gets completely unlimbered and has dibs on the brain's processing capacity... Hence the pasta world...
