The inactivity of this forum. | Thu Apr 02, 2015 11:06 pm by Burkman | It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...
I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.
I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

| If you haven't heard by now both co-founders of Bioware have left the building... aka retired. Also if you haven't heard by now Dragon Age 3 has been officially announced and there have been rumors floating around about new ME3 DLC concerning Omega. Well it was confirmed that the new DLC is indeed about Omega... but also... it was stated that there are plans for an entire other Mass Effect game. http://gamingbolt.com/mass-effect-4-bioware-has-plans-for-another-full-game-and-a-new-ip | |

| I'm supposed to be on vacation, but it's hard to avoid talking about the future of Bioware.
When it comes to Dragon Age 3, they're going to mix the combat from DA:O/Awakening with DA 2. Peresonally, I think the DA 2 combat was boring and just plain straight forward, while the DA:O combat required more strategy, especially on the higher difficulties. Nightmare difficulty will surely challenge you. I'm looking forward to DA 3 and I'm not losing faith in it just yet.
I'm a tad skeptical on ME4, but I hope they can pull it off well and not simplify everything and make it too easy.
ME3's insanity difficulty was... actually pretty easy compared to ME2's insanity, considering your skills can be a little OP in ME3.

BW certainly has proven lately it does the opposite of what fans want... and now that they have a taste for MMOs... well.. let's just hope they learned their lesson with TOR. Also... IMO ME3's difficulty was harder than ME2's... the only advantage to ME3's insanity is being able to "grab" your enemies... ME2 didn't have auto-kill enemies either...

| All we can do is just hope for the best. If you'll excuse me, it's raining here on my island and I'm going to go to my secret peaceful grove and chill. | |

I don't think they're gonna risk having two MMOs on the market, especially after the flop of TOR... They're gonna get a load of flak is they do that... But we have seen BioWare's blissfulness when it comes to fanbase rage... My Banana-Sense is tingling around a strategy, something the likes of Halo Wars... But I am reasonably more intrigued about the new title they're bringing in...

It will take place 300 years after the events set in the original ME trilogy. All thse characters that you loved will be dead and gone, cept Liara... and Grunt... and Wrex... and Samara... and Morinth... BUT HEY! Doesn't mean they had to have survived the OT! Anywho... there's now an EVEN BIGGER threat to the galaxy, making it appear all of Shepards work was in vein. Now... you might be thinking... this sounds an awfully lot like some other MMO I've tried. THAT'S WHERE YOU'RE WRONG! This MMO has CAKE!

| Thought I would post this: Comes out November 6th... I mean... it really is nice for the price they set it at... but... what about us who already have the games. >.< Also... there is apparently hype about events for the ME universe going on November 7th (N7). - Quote :
- Additionally, Bioware will be having a worldwide "N7 Day" event on November 7th, a day which will include in-game, online, and live events. More information on what exactly these may be will be coming at a later date.
