| So, I skipped the reveal. Instead watched funny clips of it (tv tv tv tv tv call of duty call of duty tv tv tv tv) and IGN's recaps.
I also watched the IGN podcast with gues star Peter Molyneux, who despite his last Fable game with sucked but did for the Kinect by demand of Microsoft, not only created games, is developer, worked as a programmer for games and is a gamer himself. With the IGN guys brought a nice perspective to what was discussed.
My opinion, Miscrosoft did not emphasize enough on games. Like the chick said herself, who was a guest at teh podcast, we want a gaming console that plays entertainment, not and entertainment box that plays games.
I want to see the games. I hope that DA3 will eb available on 360 as well. I understand backwards compatability is not possible, just create a way to detect those of us who ahve already paid for a game so we can download it for free on xbox live.
Price, too expensive to purchase at launch. Will wait.
However the entertainment possibilities are interesting, from the perspective of a creator with distribution possibilities lining up for me here, we have yet to see more at E3.
What are your thoughts on the "One"?

Also, this should be in "Games"... Why are you always so negative? Not gonna lie, I'm...impressed. Like a lot. But to be fair, we don't know everything about the PS4 yet. Sony tends to reveal stuff one piece at a time.

| How can you not see the negatives with this thing? Are you so blind that you cannot see that they're fucking the gamers over more so than they ever did? This won't be even backwards compatible. I'm not forking out so much money for ZERO games. (This first part is directed at you, Jet) At least the PS4 has a line of games already coming out for it. And I hear rumors that PS4 will be backwards compatible. If that's the case, I'm going to get that, but not when it comes out. Because I'm working again, I'll need that money to pay for school and shit.
inb4 PC is master race. | |

| It's funny how the only good announcement was Spielberg's Halo and that had nothing to do with the presentation.
Is Microsoft really trying to dig a grave?

Is Microsoft really trying to dig a grave? Hahaha It's possible that the Halo series is a build up to Halo 5. But yeah, it's not a gaming box anymore and I'm somewhat disappointed and I just pray that DA3 is available on the 360 when it comes out. Otherwise I am screwed. No money to buy the new one. They should lower the price and give one year of free Gold membership. Otherwise, I will wait as long as I can before I buy it.

| The controller isn't garbage. Ten out of ten, will buy.
Seriously though, watched the conference live while chatting with RP guys on Skype, it was bollocks. The TV feature is actually a pretty good system because you literally just add in the inputs for your programming and then save yourself a remote. With stuff like my parents use that's a pretty sweet deal as we literally have a remote or the DVD one just for switching inputs. Other than that they forgot to bring any games. Forza is a horrible series and Sports games, not even the people who buy those care. You brought out Bonnie Ross head of 343 just for her to say, hey look here's Spielberg and lolwatHALO5? Then, there was Dog Petting Sim 2013 or rather Collar Duty which didn't go over well with anyone that likes serious games.
That said, ignoring the conference and stupid name, I'm down with Xbox One. We know what it looks like, it is functional, the controller is still good, and it will have HALO 5. Say what you want about PS4 actually paying attention to games, it still has a touch screen controller for no bloody reason and I have broken enough PS1 controller and felt too much controller lag on their latter systems to have faith in this one. They are going to get the same games as PS4 for the most part, so I'm going so far with the brand that has been working and focused mostly on games. Sure, the conference was on the TV, but system wise, eh. It's just an easy trick that I'm surprised no one else does.
However, I don't understand the specs for the Xbox one so I want to hear those broken down still. And checking for online everyday? Not a problem for me, but I don't like it. That's where my reservations are at this point.
Backwards comparability, it hasn't ever been standard before even on bloody PC. Don't care. No resale, betting PS4 tries something too and resale games are screwing the gaming industry. I try to avoid them and this gives me an option I don't find as objectionable. Nope, not really a thing in the news besides checking for online I find bad. Meanwhile someone else is making another gimmick controller.
Also, Wii U is not getting any games I can't get for the GameCube or Wii, so I'm not even considering it.

| I will not be getting any Wii or PS product... and depending on what we learn from E3 I might not be getting ANY next gen console... I'll just invest in a nice gaming laptop. | |

A gaming laptop, those aren't very... practical. I'd just get a Desktop.
