Dark Space (OOC)

As per MT's request and my recent zombie movie marathon I've dug up an old RP that I never really used.  This is actually the sequel to another RP on the FS forums. For those of you interested... cool... for those of you looking to dick around... I'll just delete your posts.

Any who... a brief background on the story here:

In the last RP, which took place roughly 3 years ago (about 6 years after the Treaty of Coruscant), Scott lead a shock squad of Fillorean and Republic operatives on an emergancy rescue operation to retrieve two senators from a Sith Warship. The Sith of course at the time claim that they are outcasted Sith.  Upon catching up to the Warship they find it devoid of life.  Soon strange things start occurring, people start disappearing and dying.  The same occurred on the Republic cruiser Scott and his team were dispatched with.  Supposedly the Vertigo was destroyed when a Fillorean operative sacrificed themselves to destroy the evil that occupied both ships.  This occurred during a space electrical storm in Wild Space.

The remaining members of the Vertigo's crew and Filloreans regrouped on a nearby hoth-like world in escape pods and shuttles.  They were attacked by giant worms and were forced to run to shelter in the mountains where they found an ancient abandoned base or Sith Origin.  There they ran into what was considered the hive mind behind the horrors on the two ships. It took control of Scott's mind and forced him to attack several of the remaining team members before he was rendered unconscious.  Later it was discovered that the base they were in was an ancient Sith laboratory from more than 10,000 years ago.  The team members code named their opponents "Sith Scares".

Through manipulations of the force and unethical scientific experiments the ancient Sith of that world had intended to create a weapon that would strike fear into the Republic. The "hive-mind" does not require a specific body to exist and has an ominous ability to create force phantoms, reanimate dead tissue (note this is not the same as reviving dead tissue), and mutate dead tissue. It was unclear just how much exact intelligence the creatures over all possessed (other than the hive-mind), but after a while a few seemed to grasp the idea of meleed weapons and even blasters.  Most of these reanimated dead would feed on living and dead tissue alike.

It was apparent that the Sith had created the "Sith Scares" had been consumed by their creation long ago. After setting the base to self destruct the hand full of survivors located an old Sith fregit and departed the world, returning to Republic space.

 Though that's probably the result of years of building on him.  Maybe I will give it a shot, but I can't guarantee that my writing will any good.


I do have this character I thought up a while back.  Maybe I will add on to him and think of a way to flesh out his backstory.

Well ya don't need to have an in-depth char like I do for this one... it's a zombie/horror RP of sorts... Scott's background wouldn't be involved much here beyond what happened in the last RP.  He's a pillar character to the story out of necessity because he's a relation to the RP before this one.

Again... doesn't really need to be all that in depth.  Unless you're looking to start an in-depth char or something. For the bio... ask yourself things like what was his/her family life growing up? Who raised them? How did they get to where they are now? Some of their special/unique traits... etc.  Do they have an interesting bloodline?  Perhaps there's something specific you want to have happened to them.  How did they come to acquire some of their gear?

Well... just start I guess lol. My char is head of operation for simplicity of GM... like I said... don't really have a plan for the RP. Just start intros for now I'd guess.

Also, do you really need a character sheet for Ban? I mean, I'm pretty sure y'all know his basic bio...
After the Sacking of Coruscant (and his colourful "resignation") he spent a couple years drifting, being the general outlaw/"man on the run" type deal. Not so much a smuggler/space-pirate since he still had no ship, nor a gun for hire (not in the general definition at least), just bouncing from place to place.
Sometime in 3-4 ATC he met up with his old friend Stewdacca on Kashyyyk, where he had trained (with the help of said Wookiee) squads of the Republic Special Forces.
From late 8 ATC till... some time after and through a series of events, he found himself in the employ as a lawkeeper (a mix between a detective, an undercover agent and a government-hired bounty hunter) in the Chommell sector (where Naboo is located).
