The inactivity of this forum.

It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

Happy New Year OT! We may be dying... BUT WE'RE STILL HERE! We had an... interesting year last year. Vice Admin Burkman is taking a long earned vacation and Uly is stepping into his position. Well... I'd have more to say but I've got other things to do atm... and oh yeah... to quote Callin... "GET A MIC YA BUM!"

Go nab a Practice ASVAB from your local bookstore. Search online for different jobs in the Air Force and then look at your scores to see where you would be good at. Then toss those dreams aside and take the job that they give you.

Seriously though. Do that and pick 5 that you like. You can usually choose 3 but some may be full at your time of Basic being finished. So 5 is a better number so you can choose from whats left over.

On the jogging. Thats fine, my dad calls the the Boy Scout Shuffle. Just keep working on more jogging and less walking as you get farther along.

Make sure you're stretching... that's like 80% of making a good workout. The cardio part will take a while... buildin dat endur up... once you start jogging for a while the hardest part will be not getting bored while running.

Eww running gross. I definitely need to start building up my cardio. But I prefer weight lifting over ANY type of cardio 500%. It's not that I'm lazy, because I'm already working out. It's because running fucking SUCKS. (Mostly referring to long-distance)

Running = great way to build endurance.  It's what I did for my plan to join the Navy before I got hit by that truck. I wish I could run again. Now all I got is a gimpy little jog.

On an unrelated note I have a massive headache and I feel light headed right now...

Again... Swimming builds endurance and has more muscles involved...

I did worse toodaaaaay... I had 15:52. I started jogging and went for 9 minutes! 9 minutes! I thought, "wow, I can't believe how much I've improved already" but it was just that I was jogging slower than before. I didn't even realize I was doing it.

I sorta do some stretches that I looked up online. Probably not as much as I should... >_>

But anywho, 15:15 today, whooo! Eye of the tiger! It was raining this morning, too. Not hard, but enough that I thought about not running at all. But I knew I had to, regardless...

Also, I should be getting $800 back for my tax return. Or so turbotax tells me. >_>

Swimming is a great Low Impact Workout. No need to be a fish to appreciate that.

And yet running is the cheapest especially in the winter compared to swimming.  Besides, he's not going to be doing much swimming in the Air Force.  If he was joining the Coast Guard, then yes; Swim your goddamn heart out.

Sure swimming is a good way to build endurance. But like I said, running is cheaper and you can do it anywhere.

Uly you have to push yourself. If it hurts, that means it's working. You can't stop if it starts getting hard. Otherwise you wouldn't make any progress.

Every time RPG Maker VX Ace goes on sale for 75% off, I really want to buy it. I want to make some RPG with OT people. But if it were even going to be half-decent, it would probably take many, many hours to do and I don't think I have that dedication to something that won't be any good in the end anyway.

Much like writing fanfiction. Stop wasting your time...
