The inactivity of this forum. | Thu Apr 02, 2015 11:06 pm by Burkman | It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...
I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.
I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

Vice Admin Burkman is taking a long earned vacation and Uly is stepping into his position. Well... I'd have more to say but I've got other things to do atm... and oh yeah... to quote Callin... | With all the Thanksgiving talk, this reminds of how Brazil is now recently onto the "Black Friday" bandwagon, stores are trying to make it into a thing, but I believe no one really considers it a thing when its obvious that the prices have almost no difference from the ones that were previously established.
I remember seeing Metal Gear Rising for the PS3 on Extra (a sort of Walmart in Brazil) for like $120 bucks two weeks prior to Black Friday (Note, $79-120 is usually considered "cheap" for a video game in Brazil, taxes usually get in the way), then during Black Friday, the 120 price tag was still there, but with a sticker claiming it was previously $159.
I know this is probably not very interesting to you guys and has little to do with the discussion of Thanksgiving and more towards the Black Friday discounts (though, it doesn't make any sense to have Black Friday sales on South America out of all places), but I grew a sense of distrust towards product pricing ever since I saw it | |
