Any ASOIAF Fans here?

It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

As the title states, are there any fans of the series "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R.R. Martin? If so, what did you think of the 5th book (Dance With Dragons)? Do you watch the TV series "Game of Thrones"?

I bought and read the 5th book on the day of release (July 12) and loved it! Let's hear from the other fans!

Haven't reached it yet... I'm still on the second... Well, third if I had it... I'll buy it as soon as I get back to the UK (I hate translations)... So far- best series I've read... And I've read some pretty decent books...

On the HBO series- Yes, I watch it. I like it, but I feel they're doing the same as they did to Lord of The Rings- missing out on some really important moments/aspects and changing others (exaggerating mainly)...

haven't read the books but have been watching the game of thrones tv series.

i have the first two books just ain't read them, going to wait till the tv show gets pass the second book before i start reading

Sure, though I think you should watch the rest of the first season, then read the books that the series is based on. So far, there are 5 books in total:

A Game of Thrones
A Clash of Kings
A Storm of Swords
A Feast For Crows
Dance With Dragons

The books are excellent- do yourself a favor and read them, NOW!
