HALp!

It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

I has some moneh... now I need to upgrade my machine. So my first question I has for the computer gurus: How well does a an AM3 designed processor work with an AM2 Mobo. O.o

Unfortunately I can't give specs until I'm back at my apartment... but I have a limit of around $200 for a new CPU and graphics card. HALP PLoX! :D

AM2 Mobo+ AM3 CPU= fucked up AM2 Mobo and fucked up AM3 CPU.

AM2 Mobo+ AM3 CPU= fucked up AM2 Mobo and fucked up AM3 CPU.

I'm told that you can do AM2 mobo and AM3 CPU as long as my BIOS are updated... but not AM3 mobo and AM2 CPU...

AM3 does not work on AM2. Upgrade your mobo and grab an Athlon x4 for cheap or a Phenom x4.

I'm told by some guildmates and other areas online that AM2 and AM2+ Mobos will support an AM3 CPU if the BIOS is updated. But it wont work vice versa.

There is no BIOS update for my mobo... But why!?
