It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...
I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.
I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

Tribes: Ascend enters Open Beta tomorrow. It's free, and as awesome as a dragon riding a jet. You are all commanded to play it. My name on it, if I remember correctly, is "InsaneMatt" if you want to add me to your friends list.

I got the BETA key off facebook a while back, then I was responsible and did more important things. I'm downloading just now so that I at least get that done. I'm very much looking forward to it. High speeds, jetpacks, and no hitscan? Hell ya. My account is TheMortonator as always.

Confirmed that there is a WICKED air vehicule and that shooting a spinner at your feet and then jetpacking is a viable tactic*.
*Please note that by viable tactic I mean it is something I can get away with. If the default binding are any hint they are not anticipating that to be a common strategy or indeed a wise one.
