GW2 & The OT Alliance

It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

Happy New Year OT! We may be dying... BUT WE'RE STILL HERE! We had an... interesting year last year. Vice Admin Burkman is taking a long earned vacation and Uly is stepping into his position. Well... This was mentioned by Wilbourn in a PM so here we go.

Are we going to create an OT Alliance in GW2? The site Guild Wars 2 Guru has Guild Recruitment, an OT and over 2500 members that were on in the last hour.

I have already created a Guild Wars 2 Guru account so I'm down for this. I am however a little iffy about recruiting a lot of new peeps though, I kind of wanted to keep it as an exclusive little group. But just a few more people probably wouldn't bother me. Let's do it.

I would prefer to have a small exclusive group, but oh well. I'm in, I suppose. Just don't be surprised if I don't have the game for a while after release. I have no money whatsoever.

I think we're better off just being friends who play the game together and join a larger guild. A guild of our own would be too small and stuff.

I'd be happy to lead it, as I've got previous leading experience and GW2 knowledge.
However, we'd need to go on a server that is accessable to multiple country groups.

A newfoundland or greenland server would be perfect for european/american players.
But I'm not sure whether or not GW2 will have such desireable international servers.
