would for me. if i wanted to commit armed robbery i would do it while a single employee was in the store alone without customers. If I'm going to be stupid enough to commit ARMED ROBBERY... I'm not going to give two fucks if there's 2 or one employees. 1 person is easier to control than 2. Robber: HEY just open it up and I'll be out of here. | Ok, Uly, what you need to understand is who or what a criminal is (one that would actually consider an armed robbery). Put simply- they are rundown lowlifes, probably addicted to something (or a multitude of something). They have no creditable role in the community (no job, probably a shit family). The fact they are coked up and that they've been down in the gutters has made them bitter and fucked up. They'll do just about anything to get enough money for their next hit and don't particularly care how or from where. And here's the worst part- they don't care. They feel they need that money for that next hit. But their coked-up state makes them twitchy and panicy. They'll shoot you do something surprising. And by surprising I mean pretty much anything. They're tensed up, they haven't exactly planned what to do past drawing a gun on you. Pretty much anything can set them off. Having another person there with you, won't make them any less dangerous- they'll just as soon shoot him as they'd shoot you... A gun, say a .32 revolver, has 6 bullets...
And then there's the so-called 'planned' robberies that local street gangs pull... What's the use of having another cashier?

| You should always have two employees for a drug store or gas station job, a trigger man and a getaway driver. | |

It's good to know customers aren't in harms way for a simple trip to the store...

On a more serious note, we have a balanced budget system.

| You know, prop 8 made it so gays couldn't get married and made current gay marriages null and void. Something like that. It got voted in. A judge later said it was unconstitutional and overruled or repealed it or whatever. But the people voted against it. Not everyone in california loves the gayz. | |
