It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...
I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.
I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

Good point but I only go in for afternoons on Fridays so either way I'm not that bothered. However, people will all be celebrating it so there will be plenty of parties and free drinks about.

I like the Royal Family more than I like many presidents. Unlike politicians here in the states, the kids in the Royal Family (Sons at least, correct me if I'm wrong) have to serve in the military, so people gotta think before deciding to go to war.
Actually that brings up another point, I think that unless national security is legitimately threatened, senetors cannot vote to go to war unless they A) Have served in the armed forces or B) Have a child in the service.

Ah, they don't have to join the army - they all join through choice. Also, the Queen has no say in whether the UK goes to war so really, it's nothing to do with them.

Yeah I think both our princes served in Iraq. At least the Spare Prince did.

It would sure curb some of the "Patriotism" going around DC all the time. Now I'm going to go into the Air Force as a non-combat roll, don't get me wrong, I'm not a coward, show me a foreign invader, give me a nice trusty M-16 and I'll show you some dead invaders, but I'm not going to get my ass shot off because some asshole politician wants to protect his 401K.
