The "N" Word.

It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

So I was playing some PvP matches the other night with some people trying to have a good time... But the other team consisted of three obvious Black males spouting insults and constantly using the "N" word over and over. Here is an example: "Aw man, you come to play "N", and you get shot up like a little bitch "N"!" and "Get my back "N" or Imma shoot your "N" ass!" There was an English man on my team who used the word (not that Im defending him, I dont care for the word myself) but the three men went on a ranting racial tyrade on the guy for saying it once.

Then I was watching a Katt Williams stand up special where it seemed like every other word was the "N" word or some variation of it. Yet Michael Richards uses it and it crashes his career.

My question is, what is with this double-standard with this word? If the word is that offensive to the black race then why continue using it? Why not set an example and quit saying it constantly during stand up specials, during competitive events, or casual conversation? Im not a fan of the word myself, but I am just wanting a clear answer to why there is this massive double-standard going on here...

But don't use Michael Richards as an example. He was using as a slur not as, well, however the black community uses it. I use nigga from time to time and I say nigger too. But I only use these words in context and, unless I'm with close friends who don't judge me, I don't use the term pejoratively.

I don't use the "N" word and I hope none of my race uses it either, it's just below general equality.

White people who use it make me angry. It's not funny, it's just racist. So just do not use it.
