FTL- Faster Than Light

It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

Gah! Came so close to winning on my first playthrough.

Second playthrough ended fairly quickly. Mad scientists boarded my ship and killed my crew.

If you can get it off the website instead of Steam you should. You can almost always get a Steam key after that. So, now you are directly registered with the website and you are registered with Steam. You can download through Steam latter if you need to. In this case though, it's a single player only game which means there is no advantage to the Steam version. Might as well get it without Steam's DRM.

You get a Steam key off the bat, wherever you buy it from...

I actually had that encounter... Upgrade your med-bey and you'll be able to treat him and he joins your crew!

Well... My first fun through was kinda disappointing...
I din't die, collected a hefty amount of scrap, nearly managed to upgrade everything... Had awesome weapons- a dual missile launcher that consumes only 1 ammo per shot and deals 2 damage for each hit and another that deals 3 damage... Plus my initial burst laser and a hull laser... Had like 6 crew members plus some drones...
Buuuut... I ran out of missiles the last sector and there were no stores nearby... And I tried facing the end boss with no missiles... And... Well... Not good...

Anyways! Take 2!

And that augmentation that means your weapons are fully-charged when you arrive in a new area.
