It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

Black Friday is coming. I'll be working in shoes from 6am to 2pm. No sale changing this time. I'm glad. It's annoying to be taking down the "early bird" sale with all these people around who want to get mad at you for changing the prices. Blame kohl's, you animals... They're the ones who like to rush people to get them to buy things.

I don't know man, I guess I'm just getting to the age where it seems like everyone is dying.

First one of my closest girl friends dies in a car accident hardly a month ago, and now one of the only girls I can say that I loved tried to kill herself a few days ago and is in the ICU in a coma. A girl that I stayed up with for hours telling her "everything is going to be okay, please be strong for me, I love you." While we were together she completely stopped self-harming, I was basically her guardian angel. It was kind of an odd relationship. The big bad football player with this shy little bullied girl. And I loved every thing about that sweet little girl. But we fell apart after some stupid things and we haven't talked much since. After we broke up she went back to self-harming and starving herself. And I never tried to check up on her. And now it's too late. If I would've just checked up on her more maybe she wouldn't have done this. The last words I said to her was at a little organization we have at school which is used to prevent bullying and encourage those affected by it. I remember coming up to her and apologizing for everything and saying "No matter what you'll always hold such a special spot in my heart." And she does and always will.

And I just have a lot of other high school shit going on that's fucking with me. Tough times man.

Get on steam. Also, find a way to get back with that girl. No, it's not your fault she's hurting herself and no, you shouldn't be with her only to prevent her from doing that, but if you do love her... Stay with her... Not assigning blame, but kinda your fault not keeping in touch...
Also, talk to a professional. A real professional, not the school councillor or a hotline... An actual therapist.

And really? You're in high school... And you already feel at an age where "everybody's dying"? The hell kind of school you go to?!

Wilbourn, You're one of the best friends I've ever had at the OT.
At High School I suffered the same kind of shit, wondering when would the pain stop; A girl that used to study at my school, also took the easy way out, I wasn't much in touch with her than you was, but I wish I could have stopped it.
Everyone on school treated me like a 3-year old because I was a weirdo, to the point where I wonder if I should have done the same as the girl.

I know how you feel my friend, and I will always be here and/or on steam and facebook for you to talk.

I would also suggest a therapist like Ban said and maybe you should talk a bit to your parents, so they can know how you feel, it is going to hurt a bit to tell, but it's the only way.

So... black friday has come and gone... for the most part. Kohl's really ought to have had more So(that's the brand name) fuzzy slipper things. Those were gone by the time I got there at 6am and people asked for them all the way up to 2pm when I left.
