It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

Well without the "assholes" like us that weren't around in the glory days, we wouldn't have this website in the first place. And Scott is hardly the leader of the OT. He sets up the basic rules like no racism, politics and porn, but we can do anything outside of that. So feel free to try to start some recruiting thing if you want, but if you don't feel like doing it, don't expect us to.

Oh... don't let branch fool you... Scott is definitely our leader, in much the same way Kim Jong-Il was north korea's leader. He ruled with an iron fist, deleting posts that dared to question or insult him, then later claimed such an event never happened. He then gave power to those who would do the same, particularly burkman, who followed the "delete first, ask questions later" doctrine like never before.

Things are more peaceful here now. Less delety. But there was a time when blood flowed through the streets of OTopolis like water... or urine. Flowed like a neverending piss stream. The blood of the innocent posters.

No, I think it is you who doesn't have a clue. I understand you were a superstar in 2008 and shit. You founded your Super Awesome Team to become the first OT "guild" of sorts and other shit like that. Thanks really, thanks. I can't say I wasn't inspired by you a little 2 years after you were banned, because I was. I thought the OT was an awesome place and I always liked to hear more from older members about the Purge and shit. But what got me loving the OT was the people that were still there. Scott, Boba, Jet, Mort, Surg and Mat.

Saying this place wouldn't exist without you, would be like saying America wouldn't have been founded if not for the first English King. You paved the way, sure, but we actually did the work. Don't come and complain about nobody being here and then have no desire to use your divine personality to do something about it.
