Maybe we should turn this into a game.

It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

Maybe. But keep in mind that it IS true that Kirby only occasionally actually filled in to draw for the comic. If he had more involvement chances are he would be the main artist. Can't we give Ditko some credit here?! If anybody helped make Spiderman it was him. I'd rather say he had more involvement than Lee than some guy who drew a completely different comic and worked with DC just as much (if not more) than with Marvel.

Didn't they all create him? And it would have never happened if us teens didn't rage for a teen superhero.

Not really. Kirby had absolutely no involvement in any way what so ever. And I don't care what Wikipedia says. He drew the FF for a while, but other than that his Spiderman expierience was pretty low. Lee created the concept for a character like that, the real life issues, the teen ager, the personality, all of it. Ditko did have a bit of involvement to be fair though. Plus he was the mag's first artist. Even if he didn't stay very long. IMO though Romita did more than Ditko. And unlike Ditko he'll actually do conventions and stuff.
