Dragon Age 2

It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

Epic. That is all. from the demo, it's better than Mass Effect 2. And I seriously thought that was impossible. If TOR is anything like it, especially if the Consular is anything like the Mage... My social life shall be no more. Mark my words. (It also runs well despite my weaker graphics card.)

It was no where near Mass Effect 2... sorry.

I didn't really care for the combat system, and the story really didn't draw me in right away, or at all for that matter. Mind you... I've never played the first.

This explains several things. Allow me to rephrase: Mass Effect 2's combat was awesome. The story was awesome. The characters were the best I've ever seen in all of gaming, possibly some of the best in all forms of media I've encountered. (Heck, I beats real life in that regard>) I cheered during the suicide mission. And you're right, that was probably first play epic syndrome I was suffering from. I'm not sure if it's better. But I have very good feelings about it. And, personally, I prefer Dragon Age 2's combat to Mass Effect 2's. Which was the best combat I had ever played up until now. That said, observing this trend of improvement, I expect great things from Mass Effect 3. Great things.

Did you turn up the video options? The graphics looked really bad until i did that(and switched from directx9 to 11). After, it looked a lot better.

Well that may be, but the 360 only uses dx9, so those of us with dx11 cards will see better graphics than on the Xbox.

Dragon Age 2 is more similar to Mass Effect 2 than Dragon Age 1 is to Mass Effect 1. Dragon Age 1 is more like KotOR. Seeing as how Dragon Age 2 comes out in a week or so, I'd say play the demo and see if you like it and skip Dragon Age 1 entirely.
