The OT MMO

It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

Happy New Year OT! We may be dying... BUT WE'RE STILL HERE! We had an... interesting year last year. Vice Admin Burkman is taking a long earned vacation and Uly is stepping into his position. Well... @ Branch: I gave some thought to how I would do it if this was say an eight class mod for something here's what I came up with. Unlocked weapons replace another weapon of your choice. The legendary weapons would take up two inventory slots, because they're better than any other item.

Melee

Rage Troll
Appearance: Large green Troll.
Description: A very primitive Troll which despite attempts to mimic over life form's weapons has few more useful skills than just hitting.
Class Powers: Melee, Slow, Tough, Has a very powerful bash using his fists, Only two weapon slots.
Starting Weapons:
- Ragehammer, An attempt to copy the Banhammer. It is not nearly as powerful, but just as slow and cumbersome.
- Troll Staff, Similar to the weapons of the Church of BioWare Positivity, but he just swings it back and forth at random.
Unlockable Weapons:
- Rage Charge, A Rage Troll pound the ground to power up before running forward to try and smash everything in his way.
Legendary Weapon:
- Mah Lazer, The Rage Troll's only ranged weapon. Beware when he fires it.

Moderator
Appearance: Armored Celtic Warrior.
Description: Feared by all but the most hearty of Trolls. A Moderator can be a great ally in purging the forums, but they can also turn on those that trusted them.
Class Powers: Melee, Buffs and Debuffs.
Starting Weapons:
- Over-sized Lightsaber, A weapon of defense and offense. The Lightsaber is an elegant weapon from a more civilized age, now big enough to be able to club Seals. Come here Sealberg.
- Calming Effect, A Moderator can temporary booster their allies by reassuring them.
- Pistol, You needed a back-up weapon right? On the plus side, you can hit something that is not standing in front of you like an idiot.
- Flarg, A serum that weakens opponents so allies can take them down.
Unlockable Weapons:
- Force Lighting, Short ranged area of effect attack. Fills enemies with the power of the Mod Side.
- Deletion Grenade, Sometimes, mods tire and decide to just screw it all. That's what this baby does.
- Spam Shield, Lets a Moderator and allies which hide behind them get closer to their prey. However, it does not allow the Moderator to attack at the same time.
Legendary Weapon:
- Banhammer, The Great Hammer of Ban which smites opponents into oblivion. Slow to strike and heavy to wield. It nevertheless is a most powerful weapon for destroying anyone that dares comes too close.

DPS

Warrior of the High Trolls
Appearance: A bronzed man with a beard wearing nothing but a loincloth.
Description: Whether they follow one Troll of old or another, they are all fearsome warriors which fight only to leave blood on the battlefield.
Class Powers: All ranges DPS, Pimp Slap knock back for their bash ability.
Starting Weapons:
- Automatic Rifle, A relentless stream of bullets to mow down enemies.
- Willow Branch, A weapon even older than the Lightsaber. Beware its sting.
- Pistols, Why have one backup weapon when you can have two?
- Mines, Set a trap for those that dare not follow the path.
Unlockable Weapons:
- Golden Gun, More of a Rocket Launcher really. Only the rockets are the size of bullets. What an overpowered little thing.
- Chainsaw, Have a massacre. On us. Weaker than the Willow Branch, but offers a boost to defenses when it is turned on.
- Pimp Cane, Equips to you bash to allow for a more powerful slap.
Legendary Weapon:
- Fires, The power of the Trolls allows you to start the Flame War. This weapon is mighty at close and far range.

Posting Rebel
Appearance: A Mew with a Rainbow!
Description: It fights so that all can post.
Class Powers: Ranged DPS, Fast, Flies, Low Health.
Starting Weapons:
- Dual Stromtrooper Rifles, A whole lot of Pew Pew with very little regard for whether or not you hit anything.
- Rainbow Dash, ALWAYS I WANNA BE WITH YOU, AND MAKE BELIEVE WITH YOU.
- Charge Up, Hold and when you are ready, switch to another weapon to give it even greater speed and power. And more recoil than something your size can possibly handle.
- Six-shooter, Just in case you waste all your other ammo.
Unlockable Weapons:
- DMR, A more precise rifle for actually hitting something without dumb luck.
- Metronome, You honestly never have any idea what this will do.
- Recover, Heals you if you have the time to use it.
Legendary Weapon:
- Mewtwo, Upgrade your appearance and abilities with Mewtwo! Mewtwo boosts all your weapons and gives you the Psystrike attack. In return you have less health.

Assistance

Attention Whore
I honestly got bored before working this one out. Any comments on any of these is cool, but this one most of all. I was thinking like a tank, but annoying.

BioWare Positivists
Appearance: A female in bulky black robes.
Description: These are those that preach to the forums. They give hope that someday everything will be alright.
Class Powers: Low Health, Heals, Buffs, Higher than normal five weapons equip.
Starter Weapons:
- Acolyte's Staff, Injures or Heals depending on if you are targeting friend or foe.
- Decrypted Writing of Yoclema, With this book you can give your allies and yourself ammunition.
- Weird Al Music, Bring out your boombox to make allies move those feet.
- Spell of Resistance, A preventive measure that stops knock backs and reduces damage taken.
- I Know Kung Fu Staff, Now you know. Helpful for giving you marital arts and hopefully enough to fend off anyone that steps to close.
Unlockable Weapons:
- Staff of Healz plz, Only for healing, it cures wounds better than the Acolyte's Staff. If there is no target you may heal yourself.
- Vial of Meesh's Tears, A vial which will give the target a larger health bar for a time.
- Fog of War, Hide your nearby allies in a stealth field.
- Death Staff, Holds an enemy and deals damage to them.
Legendary Weapon:
- Book of the OT, How did the OT begin? Where is the Hand of Torm? Now you know. Not a weapon equip, it instead greatly increases the power of all your other items.

Stealth and Crowd Control

Stalker
Appearance: A male human with a creepy grin.
Description: He's climbing in your base, snatching your people up.
Class Powers: Stealth field item, Low Health, Debuffs.
Starter Weapons:
- Automatic Crossbow, Loaded with goodies that slow down a target.
- Garrote, It is nice to know you can walk up behind someone and just choke them. Best make sure their buddies don't disturb you though.
- Mickey Mine, Let them take a nice little nap.
- Flash Pistol, A good way to get away.
Unlockable Weapons:
- Cop-a-feel, Opponents weakened by your drugs will be finished off and your's to use. Health ones will have a great chance murder you. At least you went in style!
- Bow and Arrows, A great way to snipe and attach someone to the wall.
- Pics, You use a camera to take a picture of your target. Next thing you know everyone on your team can track his or her movements across the map.
Legendary Weapon:
- Candy, You throw the candy at them to give them a tummy ache. While they moan, you might as well get closer.

Forum Hunter
Appearance: Armored Sci-Fi Warrior.
Description: No one knows who a Forum Hunter is. But they all know that the Forum Hunter is fast and almost always has a target.
Class Powers: Slightly Higher Run Speed.
Starter Weapons:
- Sniper Rifle, Hello, you're dead.
- Shotgun, Normal shotguns don't knock their target into the wall and let you stay unaffected. This one does.
- Gravity Trap, Drops everyone that walks in range, except the Forum Hunter that placed it, to the ground.
- Jetpack, This thing works.
Unlockable Weapons:
- Knives, Stab your opponent in the back or to their face.
- Net, Traps targets against walls and floors.
- Teleporter, Temporary renders you invisible and intangible until you pop back out.
Legendary Weapon:
- Golden Mask, Increases your speed, boost your strength for bashing and knives, lets you slow your descents or increase your jetpack's power, X-Ray vision, and a shield to boot.

I was trying to get as many meaningful classes in as I could. Since we have one pimp and they go well together Pimp Abilities were given to the Warriors of the High Trolls. Also, basically the BioWare Positivists and Posting Rebel are the mages.

I've been switching on and off from The OT Hitman to the Mando for quite some time now and I just can't decide.

However, I feel that after recent events at E3 I'll be going for the OT Hitman after all. It's such a sweet class combo between stealth/Melee/CC and If the need be, some nice range abilities. That and he's got an awesome class skill that increases dodge.

Then It's settled; I'm going for the OT Hitman class!
