Order VS Chaos

It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

We always have had loose moderating. Mainly because all of us are friends. Plus the entire premise of the OT is loose. But how loose can it get?

To me, there's a line to be drawn. Although the OT is supposed to be a fun and simple place, it is not supposed to be some sort of madhouse (which I feel like it's been recently) and allowing everyone to run amok. There needs to be some actual moderation if you ask me, from our mods. Which we rarely actually see....Although I will give credit to some, most don't even use their mod powers for anything other than editing posts as a joke. :/

I said clearly that I didn't want this place to become some kind of strict Nazi ran forum, all I wanted was a little order. Why can't I make a fucking suggestion without all of you jumping on me and clawing at me?

Because you're not making any sense. You say we need order in this forum, yet we do have order. We're doing all that we can. And yes, you are making it sound like we make it a strict Nazi forum.

Because you're not making any sense. You say we need order in this forum, yet we do have order. We're doing all that we can. And yes, you are making it sound like we make it a strict Nazi forum.

I'm not shooting down your idea, I agree that we've had those issues. But you can't just say, "Let's change the moderation." That would just mean you have no ideas what needs improving and leave Scott and I to figure it out. Since Scott and I think it's okay as is, then nothing would change. You need to give explanations as to WHAT should be done, WHAT rules need to be added, WHAT punishments are needed.
