Okay everybody, December 1st, it's TOR month. Finally. So the Council had a meeting recently, and we'll be doing some new things before the game starts, nothing too big. I'll try to get to them all in this message, and I hope you all read this, because I'm almost 100% sure that everybody active on this site is a member of our Guild (Scott being a maybe). Now then, first of all, our Guilds constitution (housed on our TOR Thread) is going to be revamped. If anybody wants to read that B will be updating it today. We'll also be creating a thread where everybody can specify what Class and AC they are, we want to do this to find out how much of each class we have. If you haven't decided yet, don't worry, we're in no hurry. This is for your first character, as a note. I'll also be doing a little recruiting before the game starts, nothing major, I have two candidates right now I'm PMing back and forth to join. Both seem interested, just asking questions about the Guild. If they do join, friendship is advised, we're welcoming them to the community. As a note, our Team System is being trashed as well, if anybody wants to have a Team, the option is going to remain there, but it's not really part of the OTA anymore.
Now, that's the minor stuff, there is one major thing that we're going to address now. The OTA is about a 10 to 1 ratio of Republic to Empire, meaning we have very few Imperial Players. Most of these, as well, are on our Council, and have agreed to this change. Since there does not appear to be a Neutral feature for Guilds implemented in game, the OTA will be officially Republic from now on, everybody can still play Imperial Players, no wait to block that, but we are Republic now. This won't prevent anybody from Imperial Classes, again, but this should help, as no matter what our Imperial Players will always feel a little neglected otherwise, our Pre-launch Guild is set as Republic anyway. A moderator has already moved our on-site thread to the Republic Section.
That's your news for today, further developments are possible in the future. Any feedback, positive or negative, along with questions can be posted here.
