It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

Happy New Year OT! We may be dying... BUT WE'RE STILL HERE! We had an... interesting year last year. Vice Admin Burkman is taking a long earned vacation and Uly is stepping into his position. Well... Hey Burkman. How bad was that storm up there yesterday? Our power was out for 8 hours. Hard ass sideways rain and quarter sized hail. Heavy winds.

It was the same here. Though, my power was out for like 4 1/2 hours. A tree got blown into a house nearby, and nearly caved it in. Luckily, everyone was alright, and good thing they have insurance on that house.

I did like the fact the wind was nice and breezy. It kept me cool because my house was like a freaking oven. Metal trailer + no insulation + extremely hot and humid weather... you do the math.

i dont have to do the math. i lived it. same situation man. had all the doors and windows opened to try to get a breeze in lol.

Don't misunderstand me at all.

I listen to Bon Jovi, Journey, Rush, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Classic Green Day, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Van Halen, ZZ Top...you get the idea. But this is my generation we're talking about here...of course I like the bands of my age more. With a few exceptions.

But that's the thing. The majority of this newer generation of music is just... I can't exactly explain it, but it's just bad. Of course there is a ton of exceptions to that. As much as I like older bands, there's newer bands today that I really like. If I can think of a few newer bands that I really, really, really like, I'll post a few of them.

Gojira just came out with a new album that's pretty damn ballin. They're a type of death metal, but they sound a LOT different than other death metal bands.
