It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...
I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.
I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …
Happy New Year OT! We may be dying... BUT WE'RE STILL HERE! We had an... interesting year last year. Vice Admin Burkman is taking a long earned vacation and Uly is stepping into his position. Well... I'd have more to say but I've got other things to do atm... and oh yeah... to quote Callin... "GET A MIC YA BUM!"

Does anyone else on the OT watch Breaking Bad?
I just started getting back into it. I'm currently about 70% done with Season 4.

I finished season 4 a good while ago... haven't gotten around to watching season 5 yet...
Also, heath ledger's joker was the best joker. It's like they tried to make the character realistic. Jack nicholson? Come ooon... totally white face... lips all perfectly red, hair totally green, blindingly purple suit... no! NO! Heath ledger joker, that's a good joker. That's a joker I can believe. Not a real-life version of a cartoon, no sir! A real character!
I hate the voice christian bale does as batman. I'm sure it's not like it was his decision, I don't blame him, exactly... but I hate the voice he does as batman...

I liked Jack Nicholson as the Joker... his personality practically is the Joker. >.>
Heath Ledger was good on a different scale... he was creepier. JN's Joker was more charismatic. They were both good in different ways IMO.

Jack Nicholson wasn't even "actually" Joker like. He was a mobster at first and then turned into a mobster that looked like a clown. He had nothing against Batman besides the fact he was in the way.
Ledger had many things that made you think about the Joker. He did the smacking and lip-licking which is a result of meds from a rehab place. Makes you think what had happened to the Joker before the movie. Ledger's Joker also was more like the comics in the way his scheme was set up. Trying to prove that all people are just like him deep down.
And Christian Bale is the best Bruce Wayne. His Batman is odd though. The story is amazing but the actual Batman scenes are just...
Like Uly said I liked Heath's joker not because he's a straight pull-out from the comics, but because he suited the world the movies created. He's more believable. If the Joker was real, he'd be more like the Ledger version, I think.

I think you goons have seen a little too much new age Joker... I remember some of the comics and shows (live action) as a kid. Ledger was no where near them. :|

The Joker was originally a psychopath. Then around the 60s they had to lighten up on everything because of Seducing the Innocent. When comic companies felt like they were in the clear, they started to make Batman into a darker person again.
I don't understand why you guys would want a silly Joker.

Because for the majority of time that's how the Joker has been? I wouldn't call Nicholson's Joker non-psychopathic either... in fact I would find him almost more insane than the Ledger Joker.
