| Uly worked at kohl's today. I wasn't sure what it'd be like but I should have known it'd be hella busy. | |

537 in Dota 2 and 609 in KSP, probably about 1000 since I switched to playing it from a launcher...

| I've seen miley cyrus naked on that wreckin ball. And like just last week, I actually heard her sing the actual phrase on some vine video. But I've never actually heard the song. Or so I thought...
Today, uly was at kohl's... wading through the animals who came to shop the day after christmas, hearing a song I've heard a hundred times when, for some reason, I actually heard the lyrics. It was a sudden clarity clarence moment for me. I've been hearing wrecking ball all along, I didn't even know it.
But now I do. The End. | |

| Do celebrities ever walk into the Khol's in Modesto? I imagine there's at least one movie star a week that walks in there. Flinging cash everywhere like it was air.... just air. I think this is the real reason the Uly does't leave. He's a richer fuck than anyone here can imagine.

| You know, it's spelled kohl's... the H comes after the O. Even people I work with have written it down wrong. That's what bothers me the most. Also, a surprising number of people use "your" when it should be "you're." Double also, another surprising number of people freely use the words retard and retarded at work, right out where customers might hear sometimes, including the managers. Not that I care, but I find it kind of humorous because you know SOMEONE out there will take offense. One of them realized she shouldn't have said it when she looked at me. I think I was smiling a little. She then repeated what she said to someone, only replacing "retarded" with "ridiculous" but she was kinda laughing. Then we were both kinda laughing about it. She turned all serious and told me to go do something after that. I feel like managers make a conscious effort to keep up their intimidating, boss-like presence, you know? Can't we just have a moment as equals? A laugh just for us.... as friendsies, only for a moment? But nay... she had to make sure to keep the fear/respect level up. Afraid to lose it. I'm a little hurt she thinks I can't have a laugh with her and still respect her. | |

| You can be a half-dragon who worships lord gwyn in causa and grimeth's D&D world. But light hammer proficiency, heavy hammer proficiency, warhammer proficiency, light mace proficiency, heavy mace proficiency, and morningstar proficiency are very different and sacred things. The guy who swings a warhammer picks up a hammer and all of a sudden he's holding a pair of nunchuks. How do I use this thing? What foreign and bizarre object is this... "hammer"? | |

| Yes... grimeth wanted to make a character and actually try to play D&D online over voice chat... anywho, me, burkman and causa also made characters for funsies.
Well, trying to make. I exagerrated with light and heavy hammer proficiency, but light mace, heavy mace, morningstar, hammer and warhammer are all different weapon proficiencies in their mind. And that's just one-handed ones, mind you. Swords? They say short sword, long sword, curved sword, that's about it... Blunt weapons get split up into 5, maybe even 6, I never brought up "clubs" or "scepters". But swords are down to 3 and dagger is an all encompassing term for any knife like object.
Also, burkman's being a half-dragon... I don't much care for it...

| I bought Dead Space at game stop. It was more expensive than Dead Space II which is kinda weird. It is pretty fun. Who needs a need new console when I can buy games from 2008? | |

| Incidentally, I just discovered (cuz I saw it on youtube >_>) that kohl's actually plays another of miley cyrus' songs, "we can't stop." I didn't know we played any until just last week, but they've been around a while. Anywho, kohl's isn't a taylor swift radio station anymore, which is nice. Used to be every other song was a taylor swift one.
Still plenty of katy perry... not so much justin bieber anymore. They play a couple of those new daft punk songs... not sure why'd you'd find this interesting... but someone has to post about something.
And Uly? Uly takes up that burden. That's uly for you. Selfless Bob, they call me at kohl's. Sometimes. Well, that one time... course I might have imagined that. One guy called me Ricky Bobby. He's gone now. Sad times at kohl's.
