Cool. The Oculus had a major presence during this years' Eurogamer. Practically any game that could support it... well, did... There was also an entire section devoted to the Oculus, where you could see and play a lot of "proof of concept" stuff. Personally, Elite: Dangerous won it for me- the immersion it gives you when flying (as well as the added functionality) is just amazing. My tip- Make sure you're sitting. It helps.

| Last couple weeks have been Hell. On top of suffering panic attacks, I had to deal with a hemorrhoid and now I'm dealing with cubital tunnel syndrome. God fucking dammit. | |

That sucks. I have some good news though, I got a letter from Uly today. I shall transcribe it. Oct 1, 2014 Dear Ben, This place is hell. For the first few days I would keep thinking, "Ben is right. Don't join the airforce." I hope my handwriting is legible. There's no good writing surfaces here. I got 15 minutes before lights out. First time they let us write anything is today. My thoughts are probably gonna be all over the place, sorry about that. Anyway, life sucks over here. You get VERY LITTLE free time. You got like 50 naked dudes all trying to utilize 7 shower heads all while someone is screaming at you to hurry up. And they're not exactly nice, either. You got someone breathing down your neck and telling you what a moron you are at least half the day. At maximum volume too. During classes and such you usually deal with someone nice. It's not ALL screams and such. Those are a nice breath of fresh air, the classes and officer's briefings. I'm in the 320th training squadron which apparently has a record of being the best and most disciplined squadron. Which according to the more experienced trainees makes them the meanest and most hard=driving ones. Just my luck right? The training instructors, I mean. Oct 2nd - Ran out of time last night. Had to put it all away. I should warn you. If you think I'm gonna stop complaining then you don't know me as well as you think. Haha. Someone is taking letters to the mailbox soon, so I should be brief. 9 out of 10 things here are horrible, and I thought so much in the first few days that I couldn't do this. That I had no idea what I was getting into. And that's still mostly true... but things are getting better. You get used to this way of life sorta. I don't mind if you share this with the family. I'm gonna write my address here in case you threw away the envelope. Feel free to write me anything, anytime. Tell me about the day to day stuff or whatever. Anything's fine. This place is like a prison. The outside world is a complete mystery. The one time we visited a store to buy things was kind of a shock. Seeing normal people in a normal store was like walking into a whole new world. This "prison life" felt like the only thing in the world for quite some time. Maybe I'll have time to write again soon. Sorry for the handwriting again. AB Robert Allan 320 TRS/FLT656 (dorm A2) 1320 Truemper St. Unit 364023 Lackland AFB, TX 78236-6430

| Panic attacks do suck. It is good to here from Uly though. Sometimes I look up at the moon and wondering if Uly is looking too.
Also it is ridiculous how fucking expensive college is. I was hoping that I could go to the University of Tennessee at Knoxville but that is seeming impossible now. Middle Tennessee State University is my best bet now. It is an alright school but it has a lot of ghetto people and Kurds which is a bad combination. Murfreesboro is also really close to Nashville which is a blessing and curse. I might just go to community college. Who knows?

Samsung White absolutely dominated last night though. #Worlds I kinda wanted Star Horn Royal Club to win though.
