The inactivity of this forum.

It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...
I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.
I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …
Happy New Year OT! We may be dying... BUT WE'RE STILL HERE! We had an... interesting year last year. Vice Admin Burkman is taking a long earned vacation and Uly is stepping into his position. Well... I'd have more to say but I've got other things to do atm... and oh yeah... to quote Callin... "GET A MIC YA BUM!"

So, the other day I woke up and realized that out of everything I'd seen Ron Paul 2012 was no longer a running gag, but actually the only one with half a brain. And by that I do not mean he's intelligent, only that when zombies started running through the Republican party they must have been getting pretty full by the time they got to him or his brains weren't that good.
Honestly, I tend to be more forgiving than most of the internet. When everyone else was pointing and laughing at Former President Bush's Non-Texan-what-the-hell-is-this-accent, his horrible speaking skills, and all the nasty things that happened during his time in office I was sitting off pointing out that garbage was going to happen anyways and while he might not have been our savior at least his actual intelligence with his mouth closed was probably greater than most of our's. I mean really, running a country? I like to think myself smart, but the level of being "meh" at running a freaking country is pretty impressive to me. Even with a lot of help from a vastly confusing system of checks and- okay that actually makes him sound even smarter that he can deal with that storm of infighting.
However, there is being bad at public speaking and then there is being a twat and I'm fairly certain the Republicans picked a great big barrel of twats and threw a meme in just for giggles. Somehow the meme actually looks decent. Sure, he will probably try to close us up tighter than futile Japan, but he has zero chance of success so I'm not to worried. We'll just seem even more selfish to the rest of the world for 4 to 8 years. He'll also probably not solve any issue I care about and his fiscal policy will most likely be that since swimming down further in the lake while in this thunderstorm is a bad idea we should stand on top of a building while dressed in nothing but a metal rod.
Overall, it's not too terribly bad. I mean, Obama is acting against things I like and at least if we yo-yo back and forth we'll be closer to the center right? At least that's what I tell myself when I try to sleep at night. Overall, I'm glad I don't affiliate with either party, but unfortunately anyone I do affiliate with is going to lose because of an idiotic two party system. It's kind of like having two royal extended families and works somehow slightly better than just one family messing it up. At least while bicker like school children nobody wins so nobody goes in one extreme direction and screws it all up.
Yay democracy.
Somebody call me when we get one.

tl;dr
Ron Paul is a drug-head and if he's nominated Obama will get 4 more. I like Rick Santorum, but Mitt Romney is the only one that can beat Obama.
