I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...
I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

The fuck is with women wanting a ton of kids? I mean- OK, I'd personally draw the line as anything above four being too much to handle (stress-wise)... I mean face it, unless you start at like 19, by the time you get to lucky number 4 you'll be pushing 50... That is, giving each a fair period of time to grow up before having another one... Not necessarily...it depends on how far apart you space out the kids.... I don't want 19 kids. After this kid is born I will have given birth to 4 children... I'll answer the large family question.. There are a few different reasons I have such a large family. For starters I grew up with two sisters and a brother, so four kids was always normal to me, and we were always surronded by cousins etc, so in my head families are always large. Secondly, I had my first at 16, and then later when I met my ex-husband I had two more. And I'll be honest, they were all surprises. Then, I met Spanky and he has two children... so currently we are at five... and when Spanky and I became serious we realized mutually that we really wanted a child together, and to do it right, plan it out, etc... so we started trying. Initially when he and I started talking about having kids I was thinking two more. A boy and a girl, as I don't have any biological boys, and a girl because the first time he ever told me he wanted to have a child with me, he woke me up in the middle of the night and said to me "You are the most beautiful woman I have ever met, and I love you with all my heart and soul. I never wanted to get remarried until I met you, and I never wanted to have more children either. BUT, I want to have a daughter with you more than anything, and I want her to have your gorgeous smile." and various other personal stuff... plus we have picked out an epic girls name. But I still want a boy.... soooooo the trying to have a boy necessites having a large family (and rambling apparently!) | |

Just sayin' there are varying reasons for having a large family. I know a woman, same age as me who had three kids in a span of less than three years, it was ridiculous. With her last pregnancy I said are you out of your mind?!?!? Needless to say, she is now having her fifth child, and has a zillion little kids it seems because everyone is all over the place.... that kind of spacing I totally disagree with... but really as long as the mother and father are good parents, then eh however many they want as long as they take care of them... to each his own, ya know? | |
