huh? Tekkit works fine for me... but I think it's the only mod I have installed (I'm waiting for them to update tekkit to work with the new MC version). But yeah... I could prob play some this weekend... or tonight... depends on what all I need to get done.

Well... It's not working for me... It's just not there, when I click to see the image link, it says Bad Gateway...

Tekkit works fine, true, but it's difficult to get all the mods in the pack working with the version you want. Like, if I load for the current MC version 1.4.6, it loads 60 mods, which as far as I know is the full pack; but if I select the recommended version 1.2.5, it loads only about 50... And getting mods that are not included in the pack is also weirdly circumventative... Like Tekkit no longer includes Crafting Table III, so you gotta jump some hoops to get it in and working with the correct version of Tekkit...

You can choose the game version (which would also choose the according Tekkit version) from the options menu in the launcher...

Also- I finally managed to get Tekkit working like I want it with the correct game version and all the additional mods...
So here's what I got:

MC 1.4.6;
+Technic (the standard Tekkit, not the Lite or Classic versions) with all it's included mods;
+Easy Crafting Table for 1.4.6
+Sphax PureBDCraft Texture Pack 128x

The texture pack was the tricky bit cause Tekkit doesn't appear to like stuff beyond 64x...

I could show you the base my brother and I build on his server... it has a humungo ass geothermal generator. Still has a lot of work to do.
