What's interesting to me, is that when a man does or says something dumb, and we women get upset, it becomes well you must be PMSing, heaven forbid that I am *actually* mad at a LEGITIMATE reason, and that I kept most of why I was so mad to myself. On a more serious note... how do men learn to know whether or not a woman is PMSing? One... if she's mad she's mad... that's the only output there'll be. If she's PMSing... mad wont be the only emotion shown... and you my friend are on route for one wild ride if she get's mad.

Even when we are PMSing, it doesn't mean that we aren't legitimately mad. It means not only will we get mad, but there will be tears involved. So by pointing out that it's PMS, 1. It disregards the fact that we are actually mad for a valid reason, regardless of how we deal with it, so by blaming our anger on PMS you then invalidate our actual feelings, which for the record feels like ass. 2. As said the PMS will make how deal with our anger, very different from how we normally may deal with it.

Also thank you Banana for attempting to comfort me, I REALLY appreciate it. It's not so much that a stupid kid made a joke. It's the fact that there was a person, who should have been the last person to say something in regards to that, set it up for someone else to make a joke out of it, please see above about disregarding valid feelings. That's the upsetting part.

Another thing that women do... regardless of PMS... or maybe you legitimately missed what I was saying. Where in there did I say that you can't legitimately be mad when PMSing? I gave the indicators of whether or not a woman was PMSing... not if they were legitimately mad or not. Thank you for misinterpreting me.

Edit: As for dealing with woman anger... at least the way I do. PMS doesn't factor in. If my wife get's ticked by something small... I generally ignore it... it's not worth arguing about. And if it's big... well I actually have never really gotten into a big argument. :P

I wasn't misinterpreting you, I was supporting what you were saying and expounding on it. Sorry if it came across as misinterpreting. The anger comment was to clarify for the kiddies and others that PMS doesn't mean that we don't have legitimate reasons.
