Guess you're too young to have watched the Animated Series... Or the Jack Nicholson Joker in the original Batman film (from 1989)...

It was on the Hub, so i turned it on for my little brother out of nostalgia and nearly shit myself. I was all "Back to 60's Batman!"

| both shows were equally awesome for what they were.
Adam West Batman was true and pure comedy. Over the top and campy as hell. and also the only batman around visually.
Then comes BATMAN. Tim Burton and Michael Keaton showed a much more darker side of batman. and this sparks what we see after.
Batman the Animated Series. arrives not too long after BATMAN. so it retains its darker side, but as a kids show it has to have some comedy and other crap. cus its cant go that dark. Mark Hamill really brings this series together with his portrayal of the Joker, and his interactions with Ole Batsie.
Then continuing down the line of Batman shows and Animated Series you get some hits and misses. BATMAN 2 with Catwoman and The Penguin are also Tim Burton so of course they are dark and its also good for its time. Batman Forever changed the direction as well as the Director. They became more campy while trying to keep that dark feel that the first 2 brought to Gotham. Batman and Robin.... lets just let that movie die and never speak of it again.
Inbettween movies a few different animated shows come out all portraying different versions of the same dark batman or robin. nothing new here move along.
The newer shit i cant really comment on cus i pretty much refuse to watch it. takes everything i know about batman that i was taught growing up and says "umm fuck it, lets just take it all and slash it together" but from what i have seen its back to the darker serious batman.

I think it's funny how whenever Uly mentions his masturbating habits (wish he didn't) everyone goes "Ew, you freak" but when Morrigan says "So, I took a dump on spanky today! :D" everyone is all "Nice, you guys are so hawt."
1. I don't think it's gross at all that he masterbates, talks about it, or any of that. Actually I am a big supporter of Uly's posts, they crack me up. I think the sock thing is gross only because he says he uses the same sock over and over without washing it, and it gives me anxiety because of the idea of what germs are breeding in that sock. I also am not a big fan of when he mentions incest, or under-age girls, for various reasons. 2. You have managed to hit upon one of the very very few things I will not, nor will ever try.
