It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

Baby Anbesol... works decent or baby orajel

And there is always the generations old whiskey on the gums. Simply take your finger, dip it in whiskey then rub your finger on the babies gums... This also really works, and tends to make baby a little sleepy. I would use this in an emergency crying situation, since I am sure she would be a bit hesitate to give baby even the smallest amount of alcohol. But I assure you the amount rubbed on baby's gums would not hurt him.

Exciting... not so much scary... I'm sick of school and want to move on. I've already had a bunch of professional interviews so I feel comfortable in that area. My biggest concern is WHERE I will get a job... because that is prob going to require me moving my family out of Minnesota. :P

Yep... actually Spanky and I went to the doctor's last night, and the baby is doing excellent... We got to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time, which was pretty epic... and Spanky made a video of it, which I have forbidden him to post here unless he edits quite a few things out.

I am 10 weeks along, which means right now the baby is about the size of a prune... and basically it's a a fully developed fetus at this point.. just a few things left to grow, then it's basically just growing from there on out.

I am starting to get a bit nervous about the prospect of a baby to be honest.

For one all my babies have been pretty big, my last baby was one ounce short of being 11 pounds when she was born... plus it's been nearly ten years since I had a baby, so I am worried about what size the baby is going to be, if I can take it (as in carry it, I thought I was going to die with the last one), how it's going to be to go to work after the baby comes (I never had to worry about putting a baby in daycare previously)...etc... basically I am just nervous, because in some ways, it's like having a first baby all over again. And I think worrying just kind of comes with the territory.

Oh no.. the companies are from all over North America... it's just they meet in Okalahoma for this expo.

And I didn't mean any offence to the previous comment I made. My mother use to joke about babies walking out after a kid or two. And I suppose if it has been ten years... you would be nervous... of course... I suppose having a kid in general is nerve racking. It was hell as it was with one kid... let alone 4 or 5 more to come. @__@

That's kind of what I meant, I knew that baby just sorta, happened, and how young you guys are etc.. But two years, is a nice space in between.

my other kids are spaced out close to four years between each one... which was nice for me, though starting over with diapers always sucked.

Though I am curious. I gotta ask... what's it like being a twin? Do you have other siblings? If so, are you closer with your twin than with the others? Or do you feel the same about your twin as your other siblings?

I was thinking about twins today... every time I go to write we listened to the baby's heartbeat, I keep writing babies, then stop myself going, uhh there better be only one in there.
