The Never-Ending Thread

It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

I'm here in Modesto at my mom's apartment. Grimeth's mom drove me here and Grimeth came with us. It wasn't until I got inside the apartment that it sunk in that I won't be able to see Grimeth or his family anymore. I didn't know how sad it would make me to think about it. It's funny that when I left to live in pine grove, I never missed my mom who I've lived with for 27 years. But Ben's family who I lived with for 3 months, I miss more. I don't really want to leave. I want to go back to Pine Grove.

This'll be one of the last few times I can get on and post. I know I don't really respond to everyone's messages but I do read them and I appreciate what everyone has said. Starting tomorrow, I'll be gone for two months. I guess I haven't really been posting much in the past few months while staying at Grimeth's house as it is, but especially now I mean... I'll be gone.

I'll probably call Grimeth's house whenever I get to make a phone call at basic.(my mom will probably want me to call her and I probably will at some point, but honestly, I'd rather call and talk to Grimeth or someone at his house) Maybe Grimeth will tell everyone what's going on with me, if you remind him to.

We stopped to eat at Carl's Jr. on the way to my mom's apartment. We were going to go to dairy queen. I wanted a reese's blizzard. But grimeth and his mom are big fans of carl's jr. as it turns out... I've never really eaten there. But to quote grimeth, "THIS ISN'T ABOUT YOU! THIS IS ABOUT MMEEEE!"

Also, he basically made me pay for it. He then ate one of my chicken tenders and some of his mom's jalapeno thingies. That was AFTER the 1/2 pound burger and fries he had. Talking bad about grimeth when he's not in the room always makes me feel better. *sniffle*

I'm feeling a little better now... It's like the 5 stages of uh... death or something. One of them is acceptance. I feel like the analogy is a good one. My mom basically asked me what I want for my last meal. Talkin 'bout eating at denny's or red robin or something. She said it was my choice. So I choose taco bell.

I wonder to myself if I'll make any friends in basic. I'm inclined to believe that no, I won't... I can't exactly hop into conversations about football and shit that they're always talking about. Ben says I should act like how I act around him. You know, be myself. I guess so...

You won't make friends. You'll make brothers. Just keep an open mind. Everyone there is just like you atm. They don't know if they'll make friends and some of them may be socially awkward as well.

Also, I've seen all of season 1 and 2 of arrested development and like half of season 3. I really like that show. I feel like I'm a combination of george micheal and buster, truth be told.

Tokyo Ghoul finished season 1 just recently. Me and Grimeth watched the last episode of that earlier today. So that's nice.

I'm mostly all caught up on hunter x hunter... there's only like 2 episodes out currently that I haven't seen, but that's alright. I guess the current story arc will finish soon and I can watch that sometime.

I'll also finish those last 4 episodes of madoka magica at some point. Some day....

Anyway... G-goodbye, OT.... this is it for now... hopefully, I will return with a tale of how I passed basic training and not a story about how I got kicked out...
