New Admin and Change of Forum Address

It's depressing to see how inactive it has been recently. I mean, everybody is pretty much primarily posting in the never ending thread now and there's not enough people here to make this place really booming. We need to find some way to bring more people here before this place just fades into nothingness...

I know for a fact that a lot of boards out there are thriving because of how many people are there. We just need to get back into the game and pull people here. However, where we obtain these people might matter, because we don't to end up pulling in douches like those at Selkath.

I understand that people are busy these days, but it doesn't seem like they're rarely at their computer anymore. I know most of you are still dicking around with your computer. I don't know how we …

Happy New Year OT! We may be dying... BUT WE'RE STILL HERE! We had an... interesting year last year. Vice Admin Burkman is taking a long earned vacation and Uly is stepping into his position. Well... Hello all! I would like to announce again that we are having a change of forum address at the end of the week. We are changing over to "swtorot.forumotion.com". If anyone could fix the link on the TORums and any other related sites it would be much appreciated!

As I stated before I was taking apps for admin position via PM. Well here it is... the twist. I have chosen your nominees for admin. All of YOU will chose your next admin. The criteria that I was looking for was someone who was willing to take the time to put in a decent app. I'm a little saddened at the low turn out of apps, but here are your options, you have 1 week to decide:

EDIT: Since people are putting up why they should be voted on, I'll go ahead and post my app to Scott

Since my little fit, I have grown in maturity and would like to spread a bit of maturity in the OT. This could help with drama and such that would also keep members staying.

When I joined the OT in ye olden days, I started gaining a superiority feeling. I feel as if most OTers dont have that feeling as well. Like thinking its a shithole or stuff. I'd like to start thinking of ways to make the OTers proud to be OTers. It would make a tighter community, I feel.

Finally, I think we should really start thinking of ways to gain new, quality members that can laugh at themselves and laugh at others :P. These members being able to choose whether or not they are OTA members.

I believe I should be considered for the position of admin because I feel that I am mostly active in the community. I am not involved in any major drama situations, and the ones I were in are gone by and done with. I get along with the majority of the community and believe that if you nominate me for admin, you will get a hard-working person who will do what is ultimately best for the OT.

Unlike other candidates you may be considering, I am quiet proficient when it comes to adding sections to the website or coming up with new ideas. I have experience with HTML coding and other web-page development programs. I do not let my emotions guide me when making decisions, and bouts of rages are uncommon in me. The position of admin would be important to me because I have no life and you guys are my only friends.

All you guys need to know is that my rage won't affect this position whatsoever. So you can just put aside your fears of me having a rage fit and burning this place to the ground. That will never happen as long as I live.

Ik you wouldnt abuse your deleting and editing powers. Just the possibility of a biasedness. Its unlikely since you're a smart person, but thats my fear.

Don't worry. I understand the pressure of being admin. I've been one a few times before on other forums, not including the fact they were InvisionFree and Zetaboards.
